Southern Business Communications launches Classroom Technology Lease Programs for the Education Market

Lease Programs are Designed to Make Technology More Affordable in the Classroom

Norcross, GA, January 20, 2009 – SOUTHERN BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS GROUP (SBCG), a premier audio visual and distance learning technology solution provider, and wholly-owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX), today announced a Classroom Technology Lease Program providing another method of acquiring 21st century classroom technology solutions.  This leasing program, named Room 21C, is a new alternative to purchasing the classroom technology needed to create a digital learning environment in schools.

They can choose from 5 different classroom designs each with different levels of integrated technology.”

The Room 21C Program allows schools to choose from a basic classroom technology solution to a fully enhanced room.  They can choose the following packages:

The Freshman - featuring the basic entry level classroom technology
The Sophomore - the basic classroom technology plus an interactive whiteboard
The Junior - the Sophomore classroom technology plus a few more leading-edge tools
The Senior - a more high-end classroom technology solution
The AP (Advanced Placement) - the ultimate classroom technology solution

Room 21C offers an affordable 3 year, or 5 year lease package which includes a dependable warranty with preventive maintenance that matches the lease term. At the end of the lease term, the lessee will own the technology.
