Company Has Grown Its Footprint With its Reputation as a Premier Solution Provider

NORCROSS, GA – 03/19/2007 – SOUTHERN BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS (SBCG), a subsidiary of Global Imaging Systems (NYSE: GISX), celebrates its 25th anniversary as a premier audio visual (AV) integrator and solution provider.  Since the company began in Norcross, Georgia in the early 1980’s, the business has grown to 16 offices in 12 states, and has played a significant role in integrating technology in the education market.  As part of the silver anniversary celebration, SBCG has launched its new web site at sbcg.com. 

“Twenty-five years is a long time for an AV company to be in business,” said Dan Boylan, president, Southern Business Communications.  “One of the things we learned early on was the importance of becoming a partner with the customer and not just a vendor.  You can buy a projector and a screen from many sources, but if you help the customer make the right selection, create a plan, design the integration around the plan, and maintain and support your work, then you have a life-long partner.  We still have customers that go back 25 years.”

Boylan added, “One of the biggest changes we’ve seen over the years is how the cost of technology has lowered, and has made it possible for most organizations to afford integration.  What were once luxury items years ago, are now becoming mainstay.  We’re looking forward to our golden anniversary.”
